FOR YOUNG BRASS PLAYERS, GRADE 1 STANDARD AND ABOVE

Are you just starting out on a brass instrument and would like an opportunity to develop your musicality and technical skills with other like-minded starters? Then our Training Band is for you! The City of Cambridge Brass Band is committed to the development of young brass players in the Cambridgeshire area and offers high quality tutoring and ensemble experience for just £30 per term. Rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings during term time, from 5pm - 6pm at Trumpington Community College ​and you will benefit from the same high quality tutoring as the Youth Academy.
There will be opportunities to progress to the Youth Academy from Grade 4 standard onwards. Find out more here

    Interested in joining the CCBB Training Band? 
    The Training Band is open to players of brass band instruments, grade 1 standard or higher and aged 18 or under. We rehearse weekly on a Wednesday evening from 5pm to 6pm at Trumpington Community College (see map below) .
